Spring draw T&Cs

This prize draw is operated by Chip Financial (Investments) Limited on behalf of itself and Chip Financial Limited, these entities are collectively referred to as “Chip” in these terms (referred to as "the Spring Draw").
This promotion gives one of our qualifying customers the chance to win their choice of one of the following Grand Prizes in a prize draw:
‍
- “7 night Mediterranean trip on a super yacht for 12 guests”
- “£10k a month for 12 months”
- “Pay down your mortgage - up to £200k off your existing mortgage, or £200k towards a new property or mortgage.”
And the chance to win 10 prizes of “£10,000 Flight Vouchers”
The draw will run between 00:00 (British Summer Time), Wednesday 1 April 2026 and 23:59 (British Summer Time), Saturday 31 May 2026, (referred to as the "draw period").

The prize draw itself will take place on 3 June 2026 (the "Draw Date"). You should ensure you are contactable via email, or phone number connected to your Chip Account, in the 20 working days following the Draw Date.

The Spring Draw is distinct and separate from the monthly Prize Savings Account draws, which are still running as usual per the account terms for that product.

You will automatically be entered into this draw if you already have deposited, or you deposit, at least £1,000 in an Eligible Account (such as a Prize Savings Account or across any Other Eligible Account(s) held with Chip) in the draw period, unless you opt out from the Spring Draw, or are excluded for the reasons specified in the ‘eligibility criteria’ below.

You can earn more entries by continuing to hold balances in Eligible Accounts with Chip or depositing additional amounts into Eligible Account(s) with Chip.

How entries are awarded

Entries are awarded as follows:

By already holding a balance of £1,000 or more in the Prize Savings Account or across any Other Eligible Account(s) at the start of the draw period:
‍
- Your balance as of 23:59 (British Summer Time) 31 March 2026 with respect to your Eligible Accounts (the "Opening Balance") is used to calculate entries on the basis below;
  - 2 entries for every full £1,000 of balance in the Prize Savings Account;
  - 1 entry for every full £1,000 of balance across any Other Eligible Account(s) in Chip (see Eligible Account definitions below for details). Note this £1000 is calculated in aggregate across any Other Eligible Account(s) excluding the Prize Savings Account.
  - The Opening Balance will include any interest paid on savings and any growth / losses / dividends with investments that have been paid or have accrued prior to the start of the draw period, but this balance will exclude any previous bonuses and/or prizes.

By holding or building your balance in the Prize Savings Account or across any Other Eligible Account(s) during the draw period:
‍
- Net deposits which settle between 00:00 (British Summer Time), Wednesday 1 April 2026 and 23:59 (British Summer Time), Saturday 31 May 2026 with respect to your Eligible Accounts are used to calculate your entries on the basis below;
  - 2 entries for every full £1,000 of settled net deposits into the Prize Savings Account;
  - 1 entry for every full £1,000 of settled net deposits across any Other Eligible Account(s) in Chip (see Eligible Account definitions below for details).
  - The net deposits will include any interest paid on savings, but will exclude any previous growth / losses / dividends on investments during the draw period, and will exclude any bonuses and/or prizes.
Your entries accumulate daily as described below:

The amount of "net deposits" on each day will be calculated as the amount of settled deposits minus the amount of withdrawals that occur within that day (and if this amount is negative, this will be a "net withdrawal").

If you choose to sell down your investments this will update your Eligible Balance using the same calculation we use for your Annual Valuation Statement. We look at the original price you paid for your investment and compare this to how your investment's unit price has changed to ensure that original capital is accounted for proportionately towards the “net deposits” in your entries.

Pending deposits do not count towards your net deposits. Only deposits that have settled into an Eligible Account will be taken into consideration when determining your net deposits.

Note: only completed ISA transfers will count towards your entries. ISA transfers can take up to several weeks to complete. This means, that any new ISA transfers that have not completed before 23:59 (British Summer Time), Saturday 31 May 2026 will not count towards your entries.

Eligible Accounts

Eligible Accounts for the Spring Draw are:

The Prize Savings Account (offered by Chip Financial Limited)

Any of the following “Other Eligible Account(s)” held with Chip
- Accounts offered by Chip Financial Limited:
  - Chip Cash ISA
  - Chip Instant Access Account
  - Easy Access Saver Account
- Accounts offered by Chip Financial (Investments) Limited:
  - Stocks & Shares ISA
  - General Investment Account
  - Smart Cash ISA

Only balances held in the types of accounts listed above ("Eligible Accounts") will be eligible to accrue entries into the Spring Draw. Balances held in any accounts outside of the Eligible Accounts will not accrue entries.

How entries accumulate every day

We will determine the balance of your Eligible Accounts (the "Eligible Balance") once every 24 hours on each calendar day during the draw period.

The Eligible Balance on any day will be equal to the Opening Balance and the total of the net deposits or net withdrawals you have made during the draw period up to (but not including) that day.
‍
- Your net deposits and withdrawals include any interest earned on your cash balances but do not include any dividends received in respect of your investments, or any gains or losses you have made due to changes in the market value of your investments.
We will round the Eligible Balance of your Prize Savings Account down to the nearest multiple of £1,000, and the Eligible Balance of any Other Eligible Account(s) down to the nearest multiple of £1,000, and use this to calculate the number of entries that you have accrued for that day (the "Daily Accrued Entries").
Chip will make your entry count available to you from the Chip App at all times during the draw. The count will refresh daily based on your Eligible Balance.
The total number of your entries will be equal to the total of your Daily Accrued Entries for each calendar day in the draw period.
Existing Chip users will start the Spring Draw with the existing balance of their Eligible Accounts as it stands at the beginning of the draw period (i.e., the Opening Balance).
If you withdraw money from an Eligible Account, you don't lose any previously accumulated entries, but your Daily Accrued Entries will accrue based on the lower Eligible Balance each day thereafter.

Eligibility criteria (who you need to be)

There is no purchase or entry fee to enter the Spring Draw. Fees or charges that apply to your existing products will continue to apply in line with the terms of those products.

This promotion is available to all qualifying Chip customers (see how to qualify below).

However, you will be excluded from the draw if:
- You contact us to opt out of the draw and do not opt back in.
- You close your Chip Account before, up to and including the Draw Date: 3 June 2026.
- You are in breach of these Terms and Conditions or any other applicable Chip terms and conditions.
- You work for Chip or its connected parties (ClearBank Limited or Seccl Custody Limited), or are immediate family members and/or members of the same household as employees of Chip or its connected parties.

Opting out

You can opt out of the Spring Draw by contacting our Customer Support team via our in-app live chat or emailing support on hello@getchip.uk.

If you have opted out, you can opt back in at any time via the same methods.

If you opt back in, entries for the period for which you were opted out will be included in your total entries.

We will use our reasonable endeavours to process any request to opt out or opt back in within one business day.

Any request to opt out or opt back in will take effect on the calendar day after the day on which we have confirmed to you that you have been opted out or opted back in, as the case may be.

How to qualify (what you need to do)
‍

New Eligible Customers:

If you don’t have an open Eligible Account as of 00:00 (British Summer Time), Wednesday 1 April 2026, take the below actions before 23:59 (British Summer Time), Saturday 31 May 2026 to be entered in the Spring Draw;
- Download the Chip app;
- Open an Eligible Account;
- Make a settled net deposit of at least £1,000 into the Prize Savings Account or across any Other Eligible Account(s).

Existing Eligible Customers with a qualifying balance under £1,000 :

If you have an open Eligible Account or Accounts, but have a qualifying balance of less than £1,000 on 00:00 (British Summer Time), Wednesday 1 April 2026 in your Prize Savings Account, or across any Other Eligible Account(s), take the below actions before 23:59 (British Summer Time), Saturday 31 May 2026 to be entered in the Spring Draw;
- Make net deposits to bring your Eligible Balance in your Prize Savings Account or across any Other Eligible Account(s) up to at least £1,000.

Existing Eligible Customers with a qualifying balance of more than £1,000:

If you have an open Eligible Account and have a qualifying balance of more than £1,000 in your Prize Savings Account or across any Other Eligible Account(s) as of 00:00 (British Summer Time), Wednesday 1 April 2026;
- You will automatically be entered into the Spring Draw.
- You can earn more entries if you deposit further into the Prize Savings Account or any Other Eligible Account(s) in Chip before 23:59 (British Summer Time), Saturday 31 May 2026.

What are the prizes?

Grand Prize

There will be one Grand Prize, and the Grand Prize Winner can choose one of the following:

“7 night Mediterranean trip on a super yacht for 12 guests”
“£10k a month for 12 months”
“Pay down your mortgage - up to £200k off your existing mortgage, or £200k towards a new property or mortgage.” (to a maximum of £200,000)

There are also 10 prizes of “£10,000 Flight Vouchers” to be won.

Tax and prizes

Any Prizes won as part of the Spring Draw are paid without being taxed.
- Winners will be responsible for any individual tax liabilities.
- Chip is not able to provide tax advice, if you have questions about your tax status please seek independent tax advice.

How the Spring Draw will take place

The Spring Draw will take place on 3 June 2026.

We will run the Draw taking all entries per customer into account.

Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries across all of Chip's customers that are participating in the Spring Draw using a randomisation process carried out by Chip.

If we identify an error in calculating the number of entries or running the Draw, we may correct it (including by recalculating entries) and we will act fairly in doing so. If the error materially affects the outcome, we may re-run the Draw.

How the Grand Prize Winner will select and receive their prize
‍

Conditions of winning the Grand Prize

Chip may disclose your surname, county location and the number of entries you had in the Spring Draw. To comply with this obligation, Chip will send the surname and county of the Grand Prize Winner to anyone who emails hello@getchip.uk or gets in contact via the in app live chat within one month of the end of a Qualifying Period set out below.

You hereby permit that your name and location will be used in any promotional activities reasonably required by Chip.

We will also request you participate in any promotional publications, including filming and sharing media online. We will obtain your express consent before filming and/or sharing any media relating to you.

If you are a Winner, you can tell us at the time of confirming your Win if you object to or want to limit the amount of information that will be made available about you or your Win. If you wish to object at a later time, please contact Chip at hello@getchip.uk or via the in app live chat.
‍
- If you object, Chip will only refer to you and your Win by reference to the first initial of your surname and your location in any promotional activities.
- Due to regulatory obligations, we are required to maintain your personal data internally (which will be retained in accordance with https://www.getchip.uk/legal/privacy ) and may have to provide that personal data to the Advertising Standards Authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office or the Financial Conduct Authority on request.

Claiming the Grand Prize

If you are the Grand Prize Winner Chip will contact you within 10 working days from the Spring Draw Date (3 June 2026).

We will make every reasonable effort to contact you via the email and phone number connected to your Chip account as well as by Push Notification in the Chip app:
- If we are unable to contact you and no response is received within 20 working days of the initial communication being sent, we reserve the right to run an additional Draw to select another winner from among the eligible customers.

Once we successfully contact you, you must choose which Grand Prize option you want within 30 calendar days.
This prize will then be awarded as per the terms below.

Grand Prize Winner award conditions

If the winner selects “£10k a month for 12 months”;
‍
- We will begin paying £10,000 a month into the winner’s Prize Savings Account or Chip Instant Access account (or nominated bank account if neither of these are available).
- The first £10,000 payment will be paid on or before the 5th working day of the month following the Draw date.
- Then each subsequent £10,000 payment will be paid on or before the 5th working day of each subsequent month, for the subsequent 11 months.
  ‍

If the winner selects “Pay down your mortgage - up to £200k off your existing mortgage, or £200k towards a new property or mortgage.” the Mortgage Prize;
‍
- To be eligible to select the Mortgage Prize you must either have a UK residential mortgage in your name or be intending to take out a residential mortgage in your name in the UK.
- You consent to taking such action as is required for us to verify the value of your mortgage, communicate with, and make payment to your mortgage provider, this may include:
  ‍
  - Providing us with evidence of your mortgage (Mortgage name, property address, lender name, account number, current balance).
  - Authorising your mortgage provider to disclose account information and to accept payment from Chip
‍
- We will arrange to make one single Mortgage Prize payment of up to £200,000 towards the principal balance of your residential mortgage. This amount will also contribute towards any early repayment charges, valuation, conveyancing, interest and any other costs that may be applied by your mortgage provider, with the remainder paying towards the remaining mortgage principal owed.
- We reserve the right to substitute with an equivalent bonus or cash prize at our discretion if it is not reasonably practicable to pay your mortgage provider directly.
- We will aim to complete this as soon as reasonably possible, but the timing of this will be subject to due legal process and other such considerations as is reasonable.
- You remain responsible for the timely payment of your mortgage amounts owing and Chip will not be responsible for any delay or failure on your part to make your monthly payments while the Prize is being processed.
- If you do not have a mortgage but intend to purchase UK residential property, you can still claim this prize.
  To do so you must:
  ‍
  - Confirm that you intend to purchase residential property in your name in the UK or by taking out a UK residential mortgage.
  - Provide us with a copy of your mortgage offer or sale memorandum within 120 days of choosing this option.
‍
- Once you provide us with a copy of your mortgage offer or sale memorandum we will arrange to make one single Mortgage Prize bonus or cash payment to you of £200,000.
- If you are not able to secure a mortgage offer in this time frame we will work with you to find a suitable prize substitution.
- Chip does not provide mortgage advice, arrange mortgages or otherwise carry on any regulated mortgage activity. Nothing in these terms is a recommendation in relation to any mortgage product. If you have questions about your mortgage please seek independent mortgage advice.

Flight voucher award conditions

If you win one of the 10 available “£10,000 Flight Vouchers”
We will contact you via email and push notification to confirm you have won within 10 working days after the Spring Draw Date (3 June 2026) .
To arrange your voucher you will need to consent to us sharing your information with our chosen voucher provider https://www.flightgift.com/en/ where you will need to set up an account.
The Flight Voucher will be valid for up to 2 years.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your Prize through FlightGift we will provide you with an equivalent airline voucher, bonus, or cash prize at our discretion.

Complaints

Any complaint that you may have in connection with the Spring Draw will be handled in accordance with Chip’s complaints process as set out in the Chip Group Terms of Business.

General conditions

Prizes are funded by Chip from its own resources. For the avoidance of doubt, customer funds held in Chip accounts are not used to fund prizes.
‍
ClearBank Limited of Level 27, The Broadgate Tower, 20 Primrose Street, London, EC2A 2EW, UK and Seccl Custody Limited of 20 Manvers Street, Bath, United Kingdom, BA1 1JW provide the various eligible accounts used for the Competition (as applicable) (together the “Account Providers”). The Account Providers have no liability whatsoever in relation to any Competition or any prizes won.
‍

Unsuccessful customers will have no claim or action whatsoever against Chip or the Account Providers or their employees as a result of participating in the Competition.
‍

Chip does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure, regardless of cause, including, for example, equipment failure, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, which may restrict, delay or prevent the transmission or receipt of your entry or which may be regarded as spam or junk mail.
‍

Insofar as is permitted by law, Chip and the Account Providers will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner(s) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up or being refused a prize. Your statutory rights are not affected.
‍

All prizes are subject to verification checks (including identity, fraud, and financial crime checks). We may request information and documentation and may delay or withhold a prize where required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
‍

Chip reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel any Competition (or any part thereof) in the unlikely event where it becomes necessary to do so, for example if required by law or due to reasons beyond Chip’s reasonable control. Notwithstanding this, where reasonably practicable for us to do so, we will give you notice in advance of any such amendments or cancellations. If we make any such amendments or cancellations without notice, we will inform you after the fact as soon as practicable.
‍

If Chip has grounds to suspect any user, or associated third party of abusing the promotion in any capacity, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to award any prize.
‍

Any Chip promotion is also subject to the eligibility requirements of a Chip account, which can be found in Section 4 of our Chip Group Terms of Business. Also see our Privacy Notice for information on how we use your data.

Entries are awarded at different rates for different Eligible Accounts. This is a promotional feature only. It is not a recommendation to open or fund any particular account or to make or hold any investment. You should choose accounts and investments based on your own needs and circumstances, and not based on the potential to accrue entries into the Spring Draw or to win a prize.
‍

Where we consider that it is fair to do so, and in exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to award individual customers additional entries at our discretion; for instance where a technical issue affects your recorded entries, we can award additional entries to correct the issue.
We may use third-party suppliers to provide the prizes awarded under the Spring Draw. Chip may receive discounts or other commercial benefits from suppliers in connection with these prizes. These arrangements do not affect your eligibility, the number of entries that you accrue, the random selection of winners, or the way in which we provide any services to you.

All prizes outlined in this Draw are non-transferable and can only be awarded to the winner.
‍

In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these terms and the Chip Group Terms of Business or any other terms relating to the accounts and products you hold with Chip, those other terms will take precedence and are not superseded by these terms.
‍

If we are required to suspend the Spring Draw before winners are selected (including because we are implementing a wind-down plan), we may cancel the Spring Draw.. We will use reasonable endeavours to complete the Spring Draw and to fulfil prizes, subject to applicable law and Chip's financial position.
‍
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Terms and the Service in the English courts. If you live in Scotland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Terms and the Service in either the Scottish or English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Terms and the Service in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
