Hot new feature - Save Streaks

Please give it up for the latest newcomer to the Chip app; Save Streaks. Cue the applause.

Snapchat may have started streaks, but we’ve taken it and made it more than just sending a double chinned selfie to your mate every day for 103 days straight.

In weird and uncertain times like these, we want to do every little thing we can to keep you motivated, even if we don’t know what the future holds.

With the introduction of this feature you’ll be able to:

  • Track the number of consecutive days you’ve saved (this is what we call your Save Streak).
  • See the total amount saved since the start of your save streak.
  • Predict how much you will save in 50, 100, and 365 days if you maintain your streak.

You can find your Save Streak under in the Activity tab in your app.

Psst… that’s not all

You didn’t hear it from us (you most definitely hear it from us) but soon, you will be rewarded for staying on a roll and sticking with your autosaves.

You see, most banks reward you for the amount you save, where we thought it was about time you got rewarded for your consistent effort to save, no matter how high or low the amount.

People often find it all too easy to skip a save, or give up, whereas we believe that putting away £1 instead of £0 is still one step closer to reaching your goal.

So, when you reach certain milestones, we’ll give you a little something to say, ‘Hey, congrats! Keep it up!’.

Stay tuned for the full announcement to come with our Chip 3.0 roadmap coming soon.

In the meantime, feel free to send in screenshots of your progress, a little healthy competition never hurt anybody.
