Eligibility criteria (who you need to be)

You need to be an active Chip customer with an open Chip Instant Access Account as of 08 January 2025.

How to qualify (what you need to do)

1. Head to the Profile > Promos & Referrals > Enter a code section of the app.

2. Enter the promo code: THANKYOU;

3. Between 08 January and 23:59 14 February 2025.

How and when you’ll be rewarded

If you meet the eligibility criteria and perform the qualifying actions outlined above;

- We will boost your Chip Instant Access Account rate by 0.25% AER for 90 days. 

- This will begin from the moment you meet the eligibility criteria and perform the qualifying actions.

- This will take your Chip Instant Access Account to 4.00 AER (variable tracker), at the time of writing - bear in mind all Chip rates track the Bank of England (learn more here). 

- Your boosted rate will last for 90 days. After 90 days, your Chip Instant Access Account rate will revert to the underlying standard AER (currently 3.75% AER variable tracker).

- Note that if you currently have any other active rate boost applied (e.g. from a referral or another promotion), your loyalty rate boost will only be applied once your current rate boost expires. 

- Chip reserves the right to modify or terminate the Chip Instant Access Loyalty Boost Promotion at any time without notice.

- With all Chip promotion campaigns, you must be over 18 years old and be a resident of the United Kingdom, in order to participate.

- Any Chip promotion is also subject to the eligibility requirements of a Chip account, which can be found in Section 4 of our Terms of Use.

- If Chip has grounds to suspect any user, or associated third party of abusing the promotion in any capacity, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to pay any bonus.
