Eligibility criteria (who you need to be)

• You must be an existing Chip customer who has had a boosted rate on their Chip Easy Access Saver Account expire between 1 August - 31st August 2025 
• You must have a balance of a minimum of £1 in your Chip Easy Access Saver
• You must be on at least version 4.56.0 of the Chip app.

How to qualify (what you need to do)

• Head to the Profile > Promos & Referrals > Enter a code section of the app.
• Enter the Chip Easy Access Saver Account  rate boost promo code BOOST6 
• You can enter the promo code from 14 days before your boosted rate expires until 7 days after it ends.
• The boosted rate is automatically applied to your Chip Easy Access Saver account for a duration of 180 calendar days once you meet the eligibility criteria.

How and when you’ll be rewarded

• ‍The 0.60% AER boost would be applied on top of your existing standard Chip Easy Access Saver account AER interest rate for 180 calendar days when you have met all the above eligibility requirements. 
• In the event that the underlying standard Chip Easy Access Saver Account AER interest rate changes, your total rate will also change accordingly.
• ‍The boosted rate will be applied on the balance you hold in the  Chip Easy Access Saver Account each day at 00:00.
• The interest earned from your boosted rate is paid monthly as part of your regular monthly interest payment (4th business day).
• ‍When your boosted rate expires it will return to the existing standard Chip Easy Access Saver Account Rate.

General

• With all Chip promotion campaigns, you must be over 18 years old and be a resident of the United Kingdom, in order to participate.

• This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional or referral offers. 

• Any Chip promotion is also subject to the eligibility requirements of a Chip account, which can be found in Section 4 of our Terms of Use.

• If Chip has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of gaming, deception, or fraudulent or otherwise unreasonable conduct of any kind Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any promo code or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to apply any promotion.

• When we refer to timeframes in the context of promotions or eligibility requirements, “6 months” will always correspond to a period of 180 calendar days. Additionally, “3 months” refers to 90 calendar days, “9 months” refers to 270 calendar days, and “12 months” refers to 365 calendar days. This clarification ensures consistency and accuracy when interpreting the duration of any promotion or boosted rate applied to your account.

‍Chip reserves the right to modify or terminate the Boosted Rate Promotion at any time. For any user whom the boosted rate promotion has been applied, Chip will provide 14 days notice to modify or terminate the promotion.
