Eligibility criteria (who you need to be)

• You need to either have:
  
  • never opened an investment account (either a GIA or a Stocks & Shares ISA) with Chip, OR;
  • a total balance of £0 in your investment account(s) (i.e. your GIA and/or Stocks & Shares ISA) as of 30 May 2025.

How to qualify (what you need to do)

• If you don’t already have an open Chip investment account; 
  
  • Open a Chip investment account (either a GIA or a Stocks & Shares ISA), and;
  • Deposit at least £100 into your Chip investment account(s) into any fund (this can be spread across both your GIA and Stocks & Shares ISA if you choose);
  • Between 30 May and 23:59 10 June 2025.

• If you do already have an open Chip investment account (with a balance of £0 as of 30 May 2025);
  
  • Deposit at least £100 into your Chip investment account(s) into any fund (this can be spread across both your GIA and Stocks & Shares ISA if you choose);
  • Between 30 May and 23:59 10 June 2025.

How and when you’ll be rewarded

• If you meet the eligibility criteria and perform the qualifying actions outlined above;
• We will send you an email to select your reward between £30 as a gift card or cash, to the email address connected to your Chip account on 15 July 2025.
• To claim the cash reward, you will need to login into your existing PayPal account or create a new PayPal account.

• Once the email to claim your reward has been sent on 15 July 2025, you have 90 days until this link expires. You will have to claim your reward within this 90-day timeframe. 

• There is a maximum of one £30 reward per person.

• Please note, as long as the minimum deposit is made by the 23:59 10 June 2025 deadline, it will qualify for the promotion. Note that investment deposits may take a few days to appear in your account.

• If Chip has grounds to suspect any user, or associated third party of abusing the promotion in any capacity, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to pay any bonus.
• Any Chip promotion is also subject to the eligibility requirements of a Chip account, which can be found in Section 4 of our Terms of Use and our Privacy Notice.
• ‍Chip reserves the right to modify or terminate the Gift Card Promotion at any time. 
• Please note that ISA transfers will not be counted towards the minimum £100 balance required to be eligible for this promotion. 

• Your email address will be shared with Buyapowa, the reward provider, so they can distribute your reward to you. Buyapowa will not use your email address for marketing purposes.
