You need to:

• have never attempted a deposit into an investment account before (either a GIA or Stocks & Shares ISA) with Chip as of 23 September 2025

How to qualify (what you need to do)

If you don’t already have an open Chip investment account:

• Open a Chip investment account (either a GIA or a Stocks & Shares ISA), and;

• Deposit at least £1* into your Chip investment account(s);

• Between 23 September 2025 and  23:59 08 January 2026

If you do already have an open Chip investment account (but have never deposited as of 23 September 2025) :

• Deposit at least £1* into your Chip investment account(s) (this can be either your GIA or Stocks & Shares ISA);

• Between 23 September 2025 and  23:59 08 January 2026

How and when you’ll be rewarded

• If you meet the eligibility criteria and perform the qualifying actions outlined above, you will immediately enjoy  0% platform fees for over a year (until 31 January 2027). Note, fund management fees will still apply, these are charged by the fund manager (e.g. Blackrock or Invesco) and are typically between 0.1% to 0.75% p.a. but vary from fund to fund.

• Please note, as long as the minimum deposit is initiated* by the 23:59 08 January 2026 deadline, it will qualify for the promotion. Note that investment deposits may take a few days to appear in your account. Deposits can go down in value when they settle, but as long as the initial deposit is at least £1*, you will be eligible for the offer.

• *Please note whilst completed ISA transfers can count towards the minimum £1 deposit required to activate this promotion, ISA transfers can take up to several weeks to complete. This means, there may be a risk that any new ISA transfers may not complete before 23:59 08 January 2026. 
  
  • In essence, if you're planning to transfer your ISA balance to us, consider first depositing £1 to become eligible for the 0% fee offer, and then make your transfer.

• If Chip has grounds to suspect any user, or associated third party of abusing the promotion in any capacity, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to pay any bonus.

Chip reserves the right to withdraw this promotion and close it to new users earlier than 23:59 08 January 2026 i.e. if we get more demand than we can handle, we may stop advertising the promotion, but all customers who met the eligibility criteria before this point will qualify for the 0% platform fees offer.
