‍How To Redeem;

If you are referring someone:

1. Share the code JOINCHIP with your friends and family to use when they join Chip and deposit £5,000 in any Chip accounts  by 23:59 08 March 2026 and hold the balance in the accounts for a minimum of 90 consecutive calendar days. 
2. You can both be rewarded with a £50 bonus each into your Chip Prize Savings Account or your Chip Instant Access Account.
   
   1.  If you have both a Chip Instant Access Account and Prize Savings Account open, your £50 bonus will be paid into your Prize Savings Account by default. You will receive your £50 bonus on 12 May 2026 if the person you referred meets the eligibility criteria.
3. To receive your £50 referral reward, you must have an open Chip Prize Savings Account or Chip Instant Access Account.   

If you are being referred:

1. Download Chip and set up your new account. 
2. Head to the Profile > Promos & Referrals > Enter a code section of the app and enter the promo code JOINCHIP. 
3. Deposit at least £5,000 into any Chip account (this can be split across multiple accounts)  by 23:59 08 March 2026, and then maintain that balance for at least 90 consecutive calendar days
4. Enter the phone number of the referring Chip customer when prompted in-app to process the referral reward.
5. To receive the £50 bonus after the 90-day holding period, you must have an open Chip Prize Savings Account or Chip Instant Access Account. If you have both a Chip Instant Access Account and Prize Savings Account open, your £50 bonus will be paid into your Prize Savings Account by default.

If you are referring someone to Chip:

To be eligible for a £50 bonus into your Chip Prize Savings Account on 12 May 2026, the person you are referring has to have:

• Successfully signed up to Chip (minimum app version 4.56.0) as a new customer - 

‍

A new customer is defined as someone who has never previously held a Chip account.

• Met the eligibility criteria outlined above.

How will the promotion be applied?

‍

• ‍The £50 bonus will be added to your Chip Prize Savings Account on 12 May 2026, if the person being referred has met all the above requirements. 

‍

• Please note that any bonus payments from Chip into your Chip Prize Savings Account do not count towards your balance when interest is calculated, and bonus payments can take up to 5 working days to reach your linked bank account when you withdraw.

• ‍If you refer more than one person, you will be eligible for cashback rewards on multiple occasions, depending on how many referrals are successful. You will receive a £50 bonus for each customer successfully referred. For example, if you successfully refer 2 people, you will receive 2 separate £50 bonus payments into your Prize Savings Account or Chip Instant Access Account.

• If you do not have a Prize Savings Account or Chip Instant Access Account open at the time the referral criteria are met, we will not be able to apply the £50 bonus to your account.

General

• ‍Chip reserves the right to modify or terminate the Referral Bonus Promotion at any time.
• In the event that a new Chip customer enters multiple referral rewards, we will only redeem the most recent referral linked to that email address. 
• Any Chip promotion is also subject to the eligibility requirements of a Chip account (e.g. UK Tax Resident and aged 18+), full requirements can be found in Section 4 of our Terms of Use and our Privacy Notice.
• If Chip has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of gaming, deception, fraudulent or otherwise unreasonable conduct of any kind, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any referral code or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to apply any promotion.
