What do I need to do?
Referring a friend is simple. All you need to do is open the app and take the following steps:
Go to the ‘Profile’ section
Once you’re in the Chip app, go to the ‘Profile’ section.
Find ‘Promos & Referrals’
Find ‘Promos & Referrals’, then follow the on-screen steps to generate your unique referral code.
Share the wealth
There’s no limit to the number of friends you can refer, so share this code with as many people as you like.
What do they need to do?
It’s free to open an account and after a quick check, they’ll be on their way in a few minutes:
Sign up using their referral code
First your friend will need to download the Chip app and sign up using the unique referral code you have kindly provided.
Deposit at least £5,000
They’ll need to make a deposit of at least £5,000 into their Chip account (this can be split across multiple Chip savings and/or investment accounts).
Hold the balance 90 days
Lastly, they’ll need to hold at least £5,000 in their account for 90 days.
Unlimited referrals
More the merrier
For every friend you refer, you could both earn £50. For example, successfully refer two people and you’ll receive £100. Refer five and you’ll get £250.

Yes you can! For everyone you successfully invite, you will be eligible for a £50 bonus, so start sharing the wealth.
Your £50 bonus will be added to your Chip Instant Access Account or your Prize Savings Account, once the person being referred has met all the above requirements. If you have both accounts open, this bonus will automatically be paid into your Chip Instant Access Account.
Please note that any bonus payments from Chip into your Chip Instant Access Account do not count towards your balance when interest is calculated. Any bonus payments into your Prize Savings Account do not count towards your cash balance for the purpose of calculating entries into the monthly Prize Savings Account prize draw. Bonus payments can take up to 5 working days to reach your linked bank account when you withdraw.
There is no limit. For every friend you successfully refer, you will receive an additional £50 bonus into your Chip Instant Access Account or Prize Savings Account. So, if you successfully refer two friends, you will receive two separate £50 rewards; refer three, and you’ll get three separate £50 rewards into your Chip Instant Access Account or Prize Savings Account.
