What do I need to do?
Referring a friend is simple. All you need to do is open the app and take the following steps:
Go to the ‘Profile’ section
Once you’re in the Chip app, go to the ‘Profile’ section.
Find ‘Promos & Referrals’
Find ‘Promos & Referrals’, then follow the on-screen steps to generate your unique referral code.
Hold an average balance of £10 in the Prize Savings Account
Please note that to be eligible for the extra entries, you must hold an average balance of at least £10 in the Prize Savings Account as of 31 December 2025. See more about how average balances work.

Sign up using their referral code
First your friend will need to download the Chip app and sign up using the unique referral code you have kindly provided.
Deposit at least £100
They’ll need to make a deposit of at least £100 into their Prize Savings Account.
Hold an average balance of £10 in the Prize Savings Account

Unlimited referrals
More the merrier
For every friend you refer by 31st December, you could both earn 100 extra entries for the Prize Savings Account December £500k draw.
For example, successfully refer two people and you’ll receive 200 extra entries. Refer five and you’ll get 500 extra entries.

Yes you can! For everyone you successfully invite, you will be eligible for 100 extra entries in the Prize Savings Account December £500k draw, so start sharing the wealth.
Your 100 extra entries will be applied to your Prize Savings Account for the December £500k draw, once the person being referred has met all the above requirements.
Please note that to have your extra entries applied, you must both hold an average balance of at least £10 in the Prize Savings Account as of 31 December 2025.
You will be able to see these displayed as “extra entries” in your in-app “Entry Tracker” for the December £500k Draw (which updates daily), these are distinct from your usual entries which are generated by your average balance.
There is no limit. For every friend you successfully refer, you will receive an additional 100 extra entries for the Prize Savings Account December £500k draw.
So, if you successfully refer two friends, you will have two separate 100 extra entries applied; refer three, and you’ll have three separate 100 extra entries applied into your Prize Savings Account.
